Parvovirus enteritis is one of canine dangerous diseases which poses a particular concern for practitioners and dog owners around the world. type 2 (CPV-2) can affect dogs at any age, but puppies between 6 weeks months old are most susceptible to infection. One main biological properties parvovirus its continuous genetic evolution, led replacement original virus by new antigenic variants – CPV-2a, CPV-2b CPV-2c. According literature data, all three currently circulating in domestic population worldwide. The paper presents analysis epidemic situation seasonal occurrence certain regions Russian Federation 2017–2019. It was shown that ranked first among registered infectious accounted 37% during study period. has been established disease year round, frequency cases depends on season. Canine infection mainly occurs spring, late autumn early winter, probably associated with changes daily temperature these periods decreased animal resistance. Despite extensive vaccination, reason wide spread either interference maternal antibodies vaccinated or low level immune protection adult dogs.
